This is my fool-proof recipe to creating amazingly Fudgy Chocolate Brownies!
The ingredients you need are:
140g butter softened at room temperature
200g melted milk chocolate
200g caster sugar
80g self-raising flour
2 tea spoons of vanilla extract
1 table spoon of cocoa powder
2 large eggs
Preheat your oven to 175°c or 165°c if you have a fan oven and line a square 8″ by 8″ baking tray (or you can adjust the recipe for other size tins).
Beat the sugar and butter together until fluffy and then add the vanilla extract and the eggs.
Add in the melted chocolate and then gradually add the dry ingredients. Mix everything together but don’t over mix or it will ruin the batter, just mix until everything is combined.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, but check that it is done with a skewer (it should come out clean) to see if it is ready as you may need to bake it for a little bit longer.
Leave to cool for 5 minutes in the tin, and then let them cool completely on a wire rack (if you can wait that long before eating them…) and cut into bars when cool.
I hope you try this recipe out because it is the best one so far!
